N64 was nowhere near the PS1 in quality, much less in quantity. It only had a handful of good games in a handful of genres. There's a reason why it failed, guys - it sucked.
So this is that Vlado character I've been hearing about. Huh.
that being said the N64 was mostly built around multiplayer and thus ages badly purely as a result of multiplayer being a social thing and other people always move on to the 'latest and greatest'. perfect dark is still a lot of fun but it's pretty hard to get anyone to play it compared to halo or CoD. so psx games are still more worth playing these days where there's less than a handful of great single player games for the N64
You're underestimating the appeal of nostalgic systems for this sort of thing. Whipping out a PS3 for some Call of Duty isn't going to fly at a casual party, but everyone has both played and adores Mario Kart 64.
