in fact Circle of the Moon is the worst
bosses are uninspiring, powerups are boring things like "tackle" and "jump really clumsily off walls," the castle is a pain to get around (only 5 warps and one isn't even near anything), bland story with characters that are nearly impossible to like, DSS stuff is mostly terrible with a few minor exceptions (and just getting some of the cards is obnoxious)
Harmony of Dissonance is a far superior game and I'll never understand all the hate it gets
As unpopular as I'm sure this opinion is, I agree with it fully. The DDS system was bizarre- seriously, the core gameplay mechanic comes from random drops?- and the dark aesthetic ended up making everything bland (not to mention difficult to see on a vanilla GBA). HoD isn't a masterpiece, or anything, but it's not the weakest of the GBA trilogy.
