I got a new job where I have to show up to the office by 8. Good news is that it's a good job that pays well. Bad news is that the schedule didn't allow me to stand outside Target this morning and see if they got the ME3 Collector's Edition?
So what does my dad do? He goes to work early like usual, leaves his lab at 7:50, makes the short drive to Target, stands outside the store a few minutes, makes his way to the electronics section and asks about a game I'm not even sure they got. He walks out with one of two Collector's Editions they received and sends me this text:
"Ladies and gentlemen, we got him!!!!!!!!!"
My dad found Commander Shepard. The galaxy can now be saved. It's the first time in a solid decade that one of my parents has bought me a game, and he doesn't even want me to pay him back.
And that... is a top tier dad.
