And you can't take away the hood. It's too iconic to the assassin look, even if it's impractical and makes him stick out like a sore thumb.
I mean, good lord, in the games you look like a walking arsenal, moving around carrying swords, knives, daggers, and in later games crossbows and bombs. Forget the hood, if I'm a guard and I see a heavily armed man I'd probably think "This guy is going to f*** some people up."
