since I forgot to bring it up, I must say the author gets bonus points for using FF6 areas in some of these pixelated shots
Pretty sure it's Secret of Mana, actually.
But there's also an easter egg area in the first "Alterniabound" game with the Earthbound characters and Chrono Trigger warp effect!
some of the scenes with kakrat are clearly inside town building areas from FF6. There's even one room that's ripped directly from South Figaro
