well, if the weight is based on when she competed in the olympics, she was definitely less flabby but even more muscular. she's admitted to taking steroids then.
probably 4%-5% body fat in that pic there, which is unhealthily ripped even for a guy - even a really athletic woman should have more like 12% bf minimum - and if you do the math that increase in body fat should take her to around samus's listed weight
(though i agree that japan sucks and probably got lucky in listing samus's weight correctly. i mean, that height is ridiculous to begin with. she looks 5'7'' usually)
