Why must you all deny reason and try to cloak yourselves in the "this always worked before thus it is the true way" reasoning that you all deny in other circumstances? If a politician or judge did it, you'd criticize them for being entrenched in the past and unable to adapt, yet you are just like them, except on a far, far more important level.
