12. Dr. Arizona Robbins

Named after a battle ship, Arizona is the badass yet perky and slightly emotional head of Peds at Seattle Grace Mercy West. Arizona was introduced in season five of Grey’s Anatomy and was originally only suppose to have a three episode run, but Jessica Capshaw’s chemistry was so good with Sara Ramirez they signed her for the rest of the season – and she’s been a regular ever since! Plus she’s got wheelies. And she uses them. Often. Come on now, who doesn’t want a pair of adult wheelies?
I find that most of the female characters I like tend to fall into one of two categories: women I’d like to emulate, or woman I’d like date (with the occasional exception of course). But in this case, Dr. Robbins falls into the second category. I find Arizona’s personality sweet and her ability to be such a hardcore amazing surgeon incredibly awesome and adorable. Plus, while you might not know it because of her profession, Arizona has literally zero desire to ever have kids. This immediately endears me toward her since kids are terrible little monsters. Unfortunately she lets her girlfriend talk her into it and they have a seriously unattractive baby. Although I guess Callie was gonna have the baby regardless >__> And they get married. Somehow marriage takes all the sexiness out of a relationship. Well… maybe not all the sexiness, but a lot. Tsk…
Arizona stands by Callie through all of her family issues, and doesn’t even hold it against her that she had sex with George, which is seriously disgusting. That’s pretty admirable to me, because I feel like at that point in life people are usually out to everyone who matters, and to be someone’s first girlfriend can always be daunting. You never know how things will play out, so kudos to you Arizona. All in all, Arizona is my favorite character on Grey’s and one of the primary reasons why I continue to watch the show. Lord knows it doesn’t have many redeeming factors otherwise!
And now that I'm done with book one of Hunger Games I'll have more time to focus on this, so expect updates to come a lot quicker. My goal is to finish this before I start book two =]
