That's what you get for not using Timburr. The game gives you a bulky Fighting type that could survive Retaliate after evolution, and you don't use it. Or you could've used Slowpoke, who would've helped out with it's decent defense. Or you could've at least sent them out on the Retaliate turns to keep your other stuff alive.
Retaliate is still doing over half my health without the KOs.
Oh and just btw, Timburr would get one shotted by a falled ally Retaliate even if it was trained.
