It's a tough call. Embarrassingly enough, I've never played either game but I'll go with Metroid: Other M because Samus is in it. Therefore I prefer the Wii to the PS2 with ease.
Ironically, the N64 remains Nintendo's weakest console as neither a Guitar Hero nor Metroid: Other M game was released for it.
I used to prefer Metroid: Other M, but when gamesitethatdoesntexist.com ranked Guitar Hero as their #37 game of all time (and excluded Other M from the list entirely), my opinion changed dramatically.

By this comparison of four games on each console, I declare the PS2 to be the CLEAR WINNER
I indeed believe the PS2 to be the superior system. Ironically though, the only game I actually own for the system is Fairly OddParents: Breakin' Da Rules, but my intricate study of game rankings and reviews indicates that this opinion is indeed correct all the same.
However, the Sega CD is superior to the PS2, for a number of reasons:
Sonic CD > ICO
Snatcher > Contra: Shattered Soldier
Sewer Shark > Aqua Aqua
Night Trap > Chulip
