Brave Bird Nominated by: swordz9 Introduced: Gen IV Pokemon I associate this move with: Staraptor Brave Bird came along in Gen IV and instantly became the physical Flying move of choice. While I prefer Drill Peck due to lack of recoil and general coolness (spoiler for future rankings), it's hard to deny Brave Bird is probably more useful, because the extra damage done is usually well worth the recoil.
