GYM TIME!
Cilan tells me to bring in three Pokemon and I'll see why later. Why, it's because this a rotation battle! I wonder what I would've done if two of my Pokemon had already died, leaving me with only two...
The first trainer starts out with a Slowpoke, and since I had Genesis in the lead, I quickly switch to catastrofy. She gets in some damage with Cut, but she fell victim to Yawn and fell asleep... I then switched to Wicklebee who finishes it off.
The next battle goes by fairly uneventfully, save for a tricky Marill. Then it's time for Cilan. I put Genesis in the lead and hope he sweeps. He uses all five Grass starters at level 12, plus a Pansage at level 14. I start the battle with a quick Hone Claws, while his Bulbasaur uses Leech Seed. Ugh. Not to worry, though. Apparently since he then rotated Bulbasaur out of the lead, Leech Seed wore off? No complaints.
Anyway, I then proceed to one-shot all six of them with Acrobatics. Oh wait, no I don't! Pansage survives the initial hit, uses Work Up, Leech Seed does take effect all of a sudden, it recovers with an Oran Berry, uses Magical Leaf... CRITICAL HIT!
...but it's cool, Genesis survived with like 2HP and finished it off with another Acrobatics, and I win! The Trio Badge is mine, as well as TM83, Work Up.
