I got that, but when did the plant change hands? I must have totally missed it.
Hasn't been shown. There's all sorts of fan speculation. It's also not clear how Walt stole the poisoned cigarette from Jesse, although it's assumed Huell (Saul's huge bodyguard), palmed it off him while frisking him.
