What in the World?
220 B8ers compete in User of the Year every season, earning a final ranking somewhere from #1 to #220. The goal of this Fantasy League is for your team of 10 players to do better than anyone else's team.
Standard Fantasy rules apply- we use a snake ordered draft, and you have to pick one player to fill all 7 "positions" on the board. For NFL leagues that would be QB, RB, WR, etc. Here on Board 8 we have groups like "Stats Nerds" and "Mafia Players" that you have to fill instead!
Teams earn one point for every round their players advance out of. So making it to R3 = 2 pts, to R6 = 5 points, and so on. You add up all the points earned by your 10 players, and whoever has the most is the winner.
Last year's Champ was Wigs, who scored a clean win despite drafting from the #12 position; quite impressive! We'll see if he can defend his crown in 2012.
