Yeah, and there's not too much work to do. Even if there is, I'm fine with it as long as it isn't dealing with the customers (yet)! If there's cleaning to do, I'll be glad to do 'em. Working sure pays off, literally. I know I'm not getting much but it's better than what I've ever got because I never officially worked before.

I'm not saying that I don't want to help customers, it's just that I'm confused when it comes to helping them.

I don't have enough experience around the workplace to know how to get things done without the help of my co-workers. That's fine, if it's a co-worker like my friend who referred me, but if it's another co-worker, I might feel like a burden to keep on asking them, especially when I don't really know them too well yet.

And yes, damn that cash register.

Anyone else gradually just got to being comfortable around your co-workers when you first worked?
