Welcome to this, the 10th annual edition of User of the Year!
Yes, for those who hadn't yet heard, Ed Bellis has decided that he'd had enough, so I, th3l3fty, have graciously taken over his position as the new Corrupt Overlord of UotY.
As I will be handling the stats aspect of the job, currently the only thing we'll be needing are users willing to help keep the official tallies. If you'd like to volunteer, just shoot me a message here or on AIM. Also, if you have any suggestions on how to run certain aspects of the contest, I'd be glad to listen to your ideas.
Nominations will proceed as follows:
1. As of this moment, there are 22 automatic entrants to the contest, each of whom will have their own division. They are as follows:

2. Each user is allowed a maximum of two nominations; no more, no less.
3. For a user to get in, they must either (1) be nominated once by another user or (2) sign up and nominate two other users.
4. In the case there are more than 220 users entered at the close of nominations, cuts will be made based on general activity over the past year.

While there is no set time for the close of nominations, they will likely close shortly after the minimum threshold is breached, so please, get your nominations in early.
