yeah, punk not having a mic really has been frustrating to me. i mean this angle isn't really working either. ace isn't vince, punk isn't austin. he's a different kind of badboy. while austin was more about beating you down, punk is more about being a dick. you can't shoehorn a rock/jericho persona to be austin. and ace is too clean to be vince there, and actually being very clean/neutral on most things. hard to REALLY hate him the way you could hate vince who legitimately screwed someone over infamously.
he's stuck in a nowhere angle right now and wwe doesn't know what to do with it. they put their foot in and instead of trying to find a way out just sink into quicksand. for better or worse, ace shouldn't be involved in a story with any INDIVIDUAL person right now. they're playing a lot of stuff all wrong and it's hurting the program because nobody can just say with full conviction 'i love this guy!' or 'i hate this guy!' on it. the ME needs a natural feud going, and there is absolutely no reason Punk/Ziggler can't handle it on their own. alas...
