So you make fun of Miranda's teeth and then pick someone with even worse teeth, I see.
I just think Shepard and Miranda have a good dynamic going on in their relationship. They have good chemistry, and they're good foils. A lot of these rankings are based on how enjoyable they are to talk to, and nobody tops Miranda, Tali, and Thane there for me in ME2.

No, you have to choose someone, although I assume you could still get the same effect by choosing Ashley and then saving Kaiden.
Not surprising Rock has terrible ME opinions though.
