The Invlado gate was different to this. One of the earliest occurrences of the "serious business" theme that crept into the board in later years and obviously still lingers today
I actually think people take the board way less seriously, hence why there isn't all the drama and people "taking over" that you want so badly. No one cares enough. This comes with the board becoming older as a whole and having things going on in their lives. Not everyone can be superhuman like Ulti and go to work, go to school, have a family, f*** any b**** they want AND facilitate board drama.
