Whoa, it definitely has more problems than II. Its highs are really high, but Revelations has made me realize how far off course AC's gameplay has ended up. There are a lot of bad ideas shoved into ACR that could have been cut. ACII is still the most ideal balance of gameplay, with the best start to finish story in the series. I can think of ways each AC game could be better, and they each do certain things better than the other.
Anyway, I'm not willing to get too negative about Rome, because I covered every inch of it when I played Brotherhood without getting bored! Still can't claim to have done that in Revelations.
