He strikes me as the kind of guy who seems almost embarrassed of his former character and reputation. My impression of him these days is he's someone who sticks closely in his own circle, he doesn't interact with the board as a whole anywhere near as often as he used and he's definitely matured and seems to actually think about what he says before he says it. Tone seems to have changed as well, he sounds so indifferent about everything these days.

HM is like fat Elvis. He did a lot, was a huge presence, then became a recluse.
Doesn't change the fact people still picture him as thin Elvis, rather than as the guy forgetting the words to "Unchained Melody." Should be higher, imo.
Both of these seem right to me. Old HM was so genuinely enthusiastic about everything that he was fun to watch; it was easy to get swept up in his excitement. These days, he still likes games, he still occasionally makes lists and writeups, but the spark is gone. I miss old HM :(
Still deserves a hefty spot on the list for his former presence, though. Something like
