About the only problem I have now is that whenever I attempt to alt-tab out (like to write this message), the game won't come back on when I attempt to re-enter, and I've already had to restart my computer twice.
Aside from that, well:
-This game's puzzles are surprising me VERY often. I especially love it when I notice some environmental cue and then a puzzle solution sticks in my head.
-I'll mention that my younger brother unintentionally solved a puzzle for me (he's watching for the most part), but that's fine. This game has plenty more to go! Also he showed me how fun it can be to mess around.
-I really like this game's aesthetic, and no, it isn't reminding me much of Mario or Metroid. Reminds me of...I dunno, something I'd want to explore in real life (minus the death part, of course)?
-I couldn't help but grin when GLaDOS said "whee" when I was whizzing across the air during an earlier puzzle, especially in the way she did.
-Some bonus maps seem to be unlocked. Will definitely check them out once the game is beaten.
All right, so basically, this is indeed the Portal that so many speak of highly, and right now, it seems to deserve every little fluid ounce of of it. Now to continue...
