4.) Kamisama Dolls
This show was incredible. I dont feel like any single character or incident within it was exemplary, but as a total package it was simply wonderful. The Dolls themselves are highly interesting , as is the in-settingreasoning for their existence. The entire puropose ofthe show is whether or not the dolls are capable of being used for good, while one of them is being used forthe express purpose of murder. The episode of the SEASON was this shows backstory episode which was just so sad and sweet, yet informative. For the first time I was cheering for our protag big time, and yet could feel for AKi as well.
I really hope it gets a sequel, but even if it doesnt ive started following the manga.
3.) Sket Dance
This show started this year and like Boku Tomo, rose from a fairly generic premise to just be incredible. I would add more but Wang has posted my thoughts almost word for word.
2.) Mawaru Penguindrum
This shows reliance on heavy symbolism was always going to endear it to me, but its execution was in all ways pretty solid. Rock and Roll japan sequences, those factory sequences, Ringos...quirks, all of the setting that gets laid out in the first 10 episodes for the most part comes together in the end to solve the mystery of who everyone is and what the hell is going on. A fine series, but not QUITE the best of the year.
1.) Kimi To Boku
BEst show of the season, year, whatever hands down. Enough said. Good characters, good situations, and a good time all around. Best nirvana-inducing show since Aria

edwardsdv and swordz9 are basically the comedy heel tag team of this topic, why would people be taking them seriously?
