Because you do realize that listing those two things side by side =/= Logical progression of thoughts or a connection
When it's in the sequence of your summary of a playthrough, with the intro coming first, the "I won" part coming last, the annoying dialogue coming in discs 2-4, and the card games preceding the combat, there's definitely a sense of the overall progressing of when you'd be encountering each of these things!
