Well, it's only second to FFX!
But yeah, it's not a high standard, I admit. FFX's the only really, really good one. I like FFVIII's though.
FFT > FFX >...well I'm pretty much already not caring any more, I guess IX next maybe. Not a fan at all of VIII's ending.
