what did he just do with koopa the quick?
he went all the way to the finish line and then ran all the way back to the beginning
No matter what, Koopa The Quick will take a certain amount of time to get to the top, and he has to wait for him. So he runs up to finish the race, then goes back down to open up the cannons in the meantime so he can use them later.
