THE COMMANDER ROLE
I would like to first explain the Commander Role. After every five days of competition, a new Commander will be put into power by a private vote. The Commander will be immune for the five days they are in power and will take on special roles that may have an impact on who gets eliminated. There will be seven Commanders throughout the course of the game (42->37; 37->32 ... 12->7). You may be a Commander multiple times in the game, but you may not hold the power for any two consecutive five-day periods. Understand?
ELECT A COMMANDER
So let's start by voting for the first Commander, shall we? Send your vote in a private message to me with the subject title" Commander 1: [insert vote here]". You may not vote for yourself. Voting is required and you will be at a disadvantage by failing to vote. You can vote anytime before July 14th, so it gives the Commander time to make a few decisions.

THE COMMANDER'S FIRST CHOICES
I bet you're wondering what kind of power you will have as a Commander. As the first Commander you will choose two things. First, you will eliminate the first player. You will select from any player who fails to vote. If everyone votes, you will select from players who receive 0 votes, so there is already some strategy involved if you want to survive the first day. Second, the Commander will choose one player to rejoin the game from the players who signed up after the 40-player limit. If you haven't noticed from some things mentioned in this topic, two other players will join the game; one chosen by the commander and one chosen by me.
So if you have yet to sign up, shimmy over to the sign up topic and give yourself a chance. Remember, $100 is on the line, so it could be worth it!
Now that was all a lot to take in, so have some discussion, ask me a question, or just socialize and get to know the other players. You may need to be a bit social to make it over certain hurdles in the game ;)
