Arguing against the Nintendo domination is the silly part. It's becoming more pronounced, not less so, and no realistic bracket can be expected to fix the problem. There have only ever been two worthwhile companies in this contest -- Nintendo and Square -- and one of them has been getting progressively weaker all around, leaving a void that's not being filled by anyone else. Nintendo is going to start dominating the popularity at the top, and there's almost no real way to fix it.
