We've often talked about how much all things FF7'y would boost if it got a remake, right? This year, LoZ:OoT's 3D-remake launched (more or less) a handheld outselling the DS, then LoZ:SS released mid-contest. All of this is during LoZ's heavily advertised twenty-fifth anniversary, too. Today's results may be the outcome of that flood of focus.
This is still mighty damn ugly, Cloud and Sephiroth.
Neither Ocarina of Time 3D or Skyward Sword fared very well at all in anticipation polls, however,
On the other hand though, maybe the voters are smarter than we think and have deduced that rivalry =/= in-person encounter - Ganondorf talks to Link four times in Ocarina of Time even though he only sees him twice, after all!
Yes, I recently watched an LP of Ocarina of Time and I completely forgive the game for all the crap I've given it in the past few months.
