Oh yeah, because it wasn't actually mentioned in the writeup, Larfleeze generally tends to summon the forms of people he's killed in the past to fight for him as semi-autonomous Orange light constructs, which he refers to as his "corps." So it's not like saying Hal Jordan could just call for backup from the rest of the GLC - this is something that Larfleeze himself can do with his ring and lantern. He tends to summon multiple "members" during fights and in addition can fight with standard Lantern constructs. So Ed is going to immediately have his hands full fighting off the other corps members, and while they can be hurt by physical objects I don't think they could be transmuted since they're made of light. If they "die", Larfleeze can just resummon them.
Honestly I can't see Ed doing much unless he makes a bargain with Larfleeze for victory, but I don't see him having anything to offer Larfleeze that wouldn't just result in Larfleeze enslaving Ed.
