World 5

5-1: Has its tricky spots, but is not hard compared to the last two levels and manages to be a lot of fun to play! Power ups and coins are not hard to find here. This provides a more than welcome break from the difficulty found at the end of World 4! This level also introduces wind. I did get a game over here, but only because I killed myself after losing one life and deciding there was no reason to go into 5-2 without a full set of lives! Solid level.

5-2: Simple and fun. There is one tricky spot that requires you to run across a couple gaps (and underneath a piranha plant), but that is pretty much the only noteworthy thing about this level.

5-3: Ooh, this level. First part is fun, requiring you to make your way to a pipe above you by jumping on two red Koopa Paratroopas. Second part has flying bloopers and lots of jumps that have to be timed just right and you know how I feel about that :( Not too bad, but I lost several lives here over the course of my five attempts at this world. Got one game over here.

5-4: This castle is soooo stinkin' long. The main trick is to run through as much of the level as you can without dying! Pure platforming here, folks, and I actually enjoyed this level once I finished it- perhaps because it didn't claim as many lives as the castle before or after it. I did get two game overs in this level, though.

No real tricky spots to be found in World 5!
