Exactly what I was talking about at the end of my previous post. These are the only two outcomes YOU can see, because you don't believe anything else is possible.

However, as someone who is neither gay, nor lying about this, nor a "friend pawn", I can tell you that what you can see does not definitely mean that it's all there is to see.

The notion of men and women beings friends without some kind of sexual attraction is 100% possible, though I'm guessing it's also not very common.

I equate it to wondering if other planets in the universe have any sentient lifeforms on them. Some people say no, but I think that, even though we don't know at the moment, the odds of there being life outside of Earth is very, very likely, given the sheer amount of space. The same can be said with male/female relationships. There are over seven billion people on this planet. The likelihood that no man or woman are friends without sexual attraction is so far out there that it's practically not possible for it to not exist somewhere.

Also the fact that I know it's possible firsthand helps as well (for me), but I think relating it to something like the existence of aliens is a decent comparison in terms of straight probability.
