If you hit F5 you're game will instantly save with no menus or anything.
It works in 99% of PC games made in the last 10 years.
F5 is for the second game, I'm pretty sure I remember having to switch quicksave buttons from ME1 to ME2, as ME1 was F6.
Or MAYBE, GMUN, you can stop being dumb and CHECK THE DAMN CONTROLS MENU.
