Played with a bunch of terrible randos, but I think I'm getting the hang of ganking WITHOUT dying with Windrunner. And I have a pretty solid opening lane strategy, just get a bunch of clarities so I can spam power shot. Still dunno what items are the best though.
You don't want to be spamming moves in your lane on creeps. You want to harass heroes, but you always want their creeps on your tower, without your tower actually dying.
You know there are items specifically made for each type of hero right? Strength items for strength heroes, etc. I'm not sure if you know that or not. You actually play really well for someone who hasn't played much. I don't play Windrunner much myself, so I'm not sure on the best build. Linkens is probably good against stuns. Orchid is probably great. She's low on hp, so something that can give you hp and damage simultaneously is probably good, like a sheep stick.
