Actually I think it would be better if Ryder did win, and then Cena gets mad that Ryder doesn't properly thank him for what he did for him. I see Cena's character as constantly needing validation, hence the thing with Roddy Piper.
Although I'm not sure Zig-zag should lose the title yet. This is a great feud with Ryder, and there's just not really a good spot open for him in the WWE Championship race with Punk promising a long title reign and Miz getting another big push.
I think Miz is due for a face run before Summerslam. I think with this push there isn't enough time to give a solid face turn right now, but should Cena end up flipping heel anytime soon Miz is definitely the the they need to balance it with. Orton will get his program, and so would Punk and in this case Ryder, but Face Miz will be THE counterpart to heel Cena.
I'll even go on record and say that once Miz is a well established face he will be a bigger draw than Orton.
