extha, you need to get out more. Do you know how many of the people who are playing their gigs at bars have jack **** for money? Most. The good ol "struggling musician" is everywhere in the bar room scene.
Berlusconi is an "alpha male" because he has ****ing money and power. You are acting like hed be fine if he wasnt the prime minister of a country.
And your bar room 60k guy is another bad example. What if the guy with a 60k/70k job walked in a bar with HIS group of friends? YOU are the one strictly defining people here. Its laughable how you cant see that.

Okay it seems like we're not too far off in what we actually believe so let's just be clear on some things.
I only stuck with your "tatted up struggling musician" because that's the example you gave. My whole point is that it matters not what you are. Being a musician is actually a huge display of social proof and would hit plenty of female attraction switches, first of all. Why is it that you see girls crowd around dudes who play in bands at a bar after they've finished playing?
But anyway that's besides the point, and please understand that my Berlusconi example was only to prove that ALPHA CHARACTERISTICS (power/fame are some of them) can trump everything (age). Maybe it was a bad example, but it was the first that came to my mind. I guess in the same light, do you think the tatted up musician is going to be picking up girls without his alpha characteristics? No, he isn't.
Certainly if the dude making 70k walked into the bar with his group of friends (hopefully some of them are girls) and was holding court with them, his social proof would be high and he wouldn't come off as a beta. But having social proof like that is an alpha characteristic.
I'm not trying to strictly define anyone, I'm just trying to get you to agree that having a 70k a year salary isn't going to matter without developing the alpha personality around it. Look at SmartMuffin. That dude drives a Lexus and he hasn't touched a vagina since he came out of his mother.
