Going for what's statistically popular has always been a long-term bad idea. This isn't me talking about dating, this is marketing and business speaking. Following trends is safe, and more reliable, while innovating, and looking for new solutions is risky, but more rewarding if it yields success.

"Statistically popular"? Women are attracted to the same characteristics now that they have been for thousands of years. You think that in a couple of decades, confident guys will somehow have trouble with women? Laughable. We're dealing with human nature here, not advertising.

Obviously I mean no bad will against you personally but it's my own opinion, and as it's brought me a lifetime of happiness, I can't really say I'm looking for a new philosophy.

If you're not having problem with women, then there's no reason to switch your approach. For the good majority of betas, however, women will always remain highly elusive.
