I encourage criticism, so long as it's constructive. Like, I'm about 5'9", maybe 5'10" if I decide to have good posture. If you're 6'6" and you say I'm short that's not constructive criticism - that's just criticism.
Examples out of the way, I'm of the opinion that people don't criticize each other enough, and we've gotten soft and unable to cope with being criticized. I say man up and take what those around you say to heart - it can only make you a better person if you improve on all your flaws, after all.
