Really I thought they would be one of the 4 that were against it.
Maybe the Florida teams felt that the Canadian teams + Boston and Sabres would bring in more fans to their games. Travelling may not be too much of an issue with the right schedule, Winnipeg is in the middle in terms of traveling distances despite being in the southeast.
I wouldn't be surprised if there is going to be an expansion to 32 teams
