What's much more scary is my friends, who decided to do a group costume. Three guys who are, for reference, all at least 6'2, and all at least 230 lbs. The one guy is closer to 400. Two of them have beards they aren't planning on shaving, and I could go into more detail, but basically the bottom line is that they do NOT look the part for what they are going as...the Powerpuff Girls. They made their own dresses and stuff. I honestly think they look more like Peanuts characters wearing them, but whatever. They also tried to recruit other friends to be side characters from the show, and they have mostly everything covered apparently, but I wasn't going to be part of that theme.
That is either going to be very good or very bad. Most likely very bad, but if they do it just right then it approaches "so ridiculous it becomes amazing" territory. Good luck to them I guess?
I would have really liked to have found a decent satchel, as all I have right now is the whip. (Yeah, I could carry a pistol, but he didn't always have that. He *always* had the European Shoulder Bag.)
Yeah, props aren't the kind of thing you think would be difficult until you actually need something super specific. I'm definitly going to be keeping my eyes open all year for things that fit perfectly.
