As for things that always bothered me:
-Arguing the price of the item. So many customers have brought up a plant that clearly says like $6.99 on the tag, but once I ring it up they say something along the lines of, "wait, that was by a sign that said $4.99. Why is it $6.99?" I reply that it must've been a mistake and then a few customers have made me call a manager over. The manager then proceeds to look at the tag on the plant and tells the customer they are wrong.
To be fair, this is totally excusable during big holiday sales. I've both worked and shopped at so many stores during Christmas, Labor Day, etc., that never change the tags on items, and instead just stack them all by some sign with the sale price... Which half the time is never put in the computer until the sale is almost over, if at all.
