multiplayer is basically 'get more and better friends' really. hell you can do it easy on the weekend. this is assuming you guys are in the same room anyway.
the only games i'd ever say are 'too long' are probably DQ games. >__>;
rpgs of the past decade contain some of the best storylines of the genre too. so i'm not getting that complaint outside of nostalgia goggles. ....and that goes for the last two as well really. games not being about fun do exist, but a lot of 'em are. and the industry's more diverse than ever and has continuously been evolving.
