Good article, in theory, but the thing is, I'm late to playing a ton of older games (for instance, I've only played through some PS1 classics for the first time 4-5 years ago, and I'm only playing through some PS2 classics these days). And they're really better than today's games!
So no, it's not just that I'm older.
No, the genres that get attention have just shifted.
