So since it's come up in the current match, let's get some arguments on this whole issue of characters having things carry over based on their previous matches. I'm opposed to it because it defeats the purpose of MPFC as I see it, which is to take the characters as they are in their source material, by changing the characters into "source material plus stuff from prior matches". If prior matches count for these characters, it makes a huge difference, and having Ganon be the only one to gain makes no sense, because he's not a special case - having him gain abilities between rounds was something he did in the source, but MPFC is not his origin.
