GameFAQs actually promoted their 2009 Heroes Contest, with a link on the poll results page. I remember this from a long time ago: http://web.archive.org/web/20090915175758/http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=3604 However, I'm guessing CBS Interactive or GameSpot was responsible for putting that up, and not SBAllen choosing to promote their contest.
