Star Wars Galaxies is a proof that the Star Wars name isn't enough to make a game a success.
But the KOTOR name may be. Considering that KOTOR2 sold well and I still don't own a copy because I have a hard time spending $25 on an original Xbox game just shows how much weight that name carries. I'd say if any game can even touch WoW, it's TOR, but time will tell.
