so long as you have a wireless connection in the first place, any will do. that's how i was getting online for a long, long time. a simple $10-$15 USB adapter will do it. might cost you a bit more if you're trying to get on a 5 Ghz instead of a 2.x connection (only matters if you're with a dual band N router).
