If you recall, Dragon Quest 9 debuted as an Action RPG and the japanese screamed bloody murder and they changed it back to turn based.
I have a sneaking suspicion that they haven't shown us this game for 3 years because if the rumors are true and it really is a xenoblade-type game, it'll be too late to change anything if the japanese freak out again.
UGH I hope nopt.
Its freaking Dragon Quest people how hard is this. Youre the ONE series that its okay to not change.
