Look at Slowking throwing the match and getting exalted as the true, legitimate champion (dictator) anyway. Public opinion of him couldn't be more positive. It's all as planned.
Really though, I dislike the majority of psychic Pokemon so I guess even Slowking winning would have been relatively okay with me. I'm just totally indifferent to it.
