What I mean is after you've already saved the day and possibly the world, the game says "yeah, it's safe for everyone else. You, on the other hand..." and unleashes hell up you, clang!
FPS games do it a lot, with the best one I can think of being CoD4, but I can't think of many non-FPS ones that pull it off without simply being a load-bearing-boss scenario, clang! Granted, sometimes an entire planet blows up during those, but can anyone give me some games that do it without being all "thanks for killing that guy, now get out of here before everything explodes," clang?
